Where I was:
Concerned about what people thought of me – especially those who I work with
Unsure if I was up to running a large company
I acted defensively/aggressively if I thought I was being criticised or if I felt I had done something wrong
Where I am now:
Much more comfortable in my own skin
Happy to hand over responsibility to others around me
Happy to take time for myself
I understand that things will upset me and I have a much better ability to look behind the emotions attached to a situation and respond to a situation rather than react to it.
It is much easier to see that my emotions are triggered by past experiences and that I don’t need these any more.
